More pictures from protest against the Co$, London, Dec 2004

Setting up demo
Starting demo.

Seven police-people for seven protesters, including an official police photographer (with a very cool rig which had a digical camcorder and a big butch camera strapped to the same frame; ooohh!)

E-meter demonstration in front of shop
Two tables were set up in front of the shop, with e-meters on which passing members of the public were invited to be fooled.

Please note video camera in window :-)

Demo underway
Arkady on boom-box, clam leafletter.

Clams we know, more e-meter demonstration
Two clams. The one on the right is an old acquaintance, who went and stood on Arkady's toes as she was on the boombox. What a surprise...

Member of public and OSA creep
A member of the public trying to find out from an OSA creep exactly why the protesters had to move (after OSA had convinced the police that the clams could not be trusted to hold the peace).

Shop-front with fewer protesters

The pavement in front of the shop after the protesters agreed to the request made by the police to move on (so as to make the job of keeping the peace easier for the police who had been convinced - by OSA - that the clams could not be trusted to keep the peace).

Two members of the public interceeding on our behalf are seen discussing with the police. Eventually, they made sure that we were allowed to have as many leafletters in front of the shop as the clams had.

Thanks to those friendly passers-by!!!
