This one sure did look happy.
This time, the counter-"protest" came very quickly (nothing like the
near-two hours reaction time of the London org), with lots of signs,
and one clam who thought that the passer-bys would be interested in
hearing the words w w w dot $cientology dot org yelled
out. I should have told the poor dear that my leaflets had the same
address on them, but he seemed to be feeling useful, so I let him
grind on...
Xemu finally free from the clutches of the tape-recording clam,
gets on with some handing out of his signature leaflets.
The Dianetics place was a doorway. Nothing more.. There was a sign on
the railing leading up to the door, but it was so discreet that we had
a horrible time finding the place. We were finally led directly to the
door, by following a guy who was waering a "Golden Era Productions"
jacket. Sometimes, it's just too easy..
The $cientology org proper was on the first floor, above a
shop. Although the place hardly shows, the clams seem to have quite a
stretch of first fllor. They got very busy peeping out and taking
photographs.
The two last shots give an impression of what the casual passer-by
observed: lots of people with nright shiny $cientology signs, and a
few protesters engaged in conversation with members of the Co$. Some
of the better protesters managed to engage passer-bys in conversations
(with the participationm of Co$ people), and we could some really good
responses from the general public (as usual..).
